December 2019

You can help support Pate Ministries when you shop on and select For the children Inc., as your charity and then shop, shop, shop!

Our 2019 Pate Ministries Christmas card and end of year ministry update letter has been mailed out. I am overwhelmed to see the number of children and adults that God used Pate Ministries to share the Gospel with this past year, many seeds were planted, tilled and are growing; looking forward to 2020 and to see the harvest. Look for your copy of the end of year update. If you are not on our mailing list, please sign up on our contact us page.

Big News:

We were able to supply bathroom supplies (toilet, sink, etc.) to the house church where our San Antonio Kids Bible Club meets. They did not have a bathroom and had to go down a hill to use a neighbor's outhouse. They were overjoyed to received the items needed to construct their own bathroom. Your donations helped to bless this house church.

Bigger News:

While we are Stateside to raise funds for the ministry, Andrés, Leslie and Linda are keeping the Bible Clubs running.

This month we are celebrating our annual Happy Birthday Jesus celebrations in each of our 14 Bible Clubs. We share with the children that the birth of Jesus is the reason why we celebrate Christmas and what that means to us. We celebrate His birthday with a birthday cake and give the children a gift. It's a great time.

The Gideons are passing out New Testaments Bibles in each of our Bible Clubs over two weeks during our Happy Birthday Jesus Celebrations! Our good friends and missionaries, Sharon and Rick La Bouef are heading up the Gideon camp in Cuenca.

Some of our staff, Andrés and Leslie (with their church) hiked over 5 hours into a small village to share the Gospel and give out the ministry and humanitarian items this month. Your donations helped to provide some of the ministry and humanitarian items.

  • Our good friends and E-Team member, Rebecca Carrion and her husband Jose, made it safely, with all of their possessions to South Carolina. Please wish them a blessed transition in their new endeavors .
  • We are gathering funds and supplies for our next year's clean feet sock project and the back pack projects. You can provide a child with a pack of 6 pair of socks for $8.
