What is our intern program?
We offer a program for individuals who feel called to, have a leading towards or just want to get a better understanding of missions work. Individuals come and work with us for a longer period than the standard one week short-term mission trip. Most interns stay between three and six weeks. This additional time will allow the individual a better understanding and insight into missions work and possibly the time for God to speak to them about what He wants them to do for Him in Missions or a missions calling.
What will a mission intern do?
A mission intern will work alongside the missionary and the E-Team (Ecuadorian staff and gringos) on a day to day basis. We have many areas of ministry for an individual(s) to participate in during the internship, such as, but not limited to: teaching, making crafts, music, drama, puppets, mentoring, playing games and fixing snacks. We also have a special project of writing kids club lessons for a future training program. You will also assist in the office and assist with incoming visiting short-term mission teams.
